The new ceiling is now supported by tiny aluminium C-channels and there will be no more worry of the attacks by insects. But the thin and small channels are very slender, not able to carry much weight. The installation of heavy lighting apparatus on the -channels have to be done in care! Fan is also not be able to hang from these structures.
The new installation costed about RM1500 with an area of 4.5m x5m.
