Man-make structures in the Swamp Forest

To assist them walking in the the forest with many fallen large trees (fell because of poor root foundation and huge winds), some natives used whatever available to help them walking through the forest efficiently.
Unfortunately, the wood structures would not last long and conserve when exposed to weather, otherwise, we can study whether the ancient people also made these structures to ease their forest products collecting life. They would not use nails but perhaps they could use rattan, or perhaps, they used the rattan to swing from one tree to another tree just like the apes or the WEstern Tazaan!
