These samples are light and porous with a lot of holes.
Corals thrives well at shallow and clear sea. As the location is less than a kilometer from the big Kemena River, it means that the river water was clear and clean thousands of years ago.
Today, the river carries brown water full of silt as a result of the erosion. It is difficult for coral to grow nowadays. I do not hear any diving heaven nearby.
